I’m starting to feel that the eharmony excitement comes in waves.  Nothing will happen for a couple of days and then all of a sudden there’s a crazy rush in the internet dating scene.  Maybe there’s some kind of pattern that I haven’t figured out yet?  Hmmm, am I the internet dater they’re all laughing at behind my back because I’m off of the schedule?  Let me know if you’ve ever heard of anything that resembles this scenario! 

Ok,  so Maverick had e-mailed me and I responded so now just my turn to wait again.  haha  But his e-mails are fun, feel less like I’m interviewing and more just enjoying conversation.  Gold star.

Surprising action from yesterday was this.  Ok, so the guy I had been e-mailing from Tupelo, the lawyer who we’ll now call Gabe, just because I want to, I hadn’t heard from in a few days.  Our last correspondence, if you will, was his e-mail that included the spanking comment about my birthday to which I responded to him that it was an awkward comment.  He had apoligized, confirmed he was joking and then disappeared.  I assumed I had freaked him out and that was that.  Well I WAS WRONG! haha  Last night he called!  That’s right, I had given him my digits, don’t judge me.  He was great.  Really funny, easy to talk to, and set the record straight on the awk comment which I appreciated.  So he’s back in the game.  haha  Seems like a good guy, glad to have him back.

There’s also a new guy who is in “government” which we’ll have to clarify what that means.  But he’s 31 and from Huntsville.  What are everybody’s thoughts on age differences?  Good looking guy and seems really genuine and fun.  We’re making our way through the steps and almost to the e-mailing part.  So I’ll keep you updated.

It was weird talking to Gabe last night and still wondering if Maverick had written me back.  Makes me feel like a cheater. haha  But, I’m not so naive to think I’m not also being two-timed.  Maybe like 10-timed!  we’ll see.  In the words of John Carroll, if something works out through eHarmony at some point you’ll have to sit down and have the conversation where you say “Ok, let’s close all our other matches.”  HA!  love it
